StimVet 200
StimVet 200 is a device for muscular and analgesic electrostimulation for small animals and horses.
In veterinary rehabilitation and physical therapy, the electric current is used for two basic purposes: to reduce the perception of pain and to stimulate the excitable tissues (muscles).
Electricity promotes the analgesic action through membrane hyperpolarization according to the Gate control theory and through hyperaemia and increased of morphine-like mediators.
